2023 EXHIBITION IN LAGOS, NIGERIA

The Exhibition was Inaugurated on 16th August by Mr. Chandramouli Kern, Consul General of India. 45 Indian Companies participated in the Exhibition.

National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control – NAFDAC had put up a stall to provide seamless assistance in doing business with Nigeria.

In Key note address Mr Chandramouli spoke on safe and sustainable use of agrochemicals and India’s strength in this sector globally. Agrochemical is a focus area of the Government of India and efforts are being made to made India a global leader

The exhibition witnessed 1200 visitors in 2 days from Nigeria, India, Ethiopia, Nairobi and Ghana.

Following are few glimpses on booth visits, meetings and the NAFDAC team who helped all exhibitors tirelessy with their queries on exporting Agrochemicals to Nigeria.

The African Agrochemicals Market is poised for notable growth and projected to expand from $7.36 billion in 2023 to $9.21 billion by 2028.

Nigeria, being one of the largest importers of agrochemicals in Africa by volume of 147,477 tonnes in 2020, spent approximately USD 384 million in 2018, according to the Food and Agriculture Organisation, FAO. This signifies a tremendous opportunity for companies offering innovative solutions in this sector.
